(Professional Practices) Standards Compliance VerificationView the Professional Practices Sub-Committee Charter Purpose: The purpose of the Professional Practices Sub-Committee is to provide a verification of the practicality, usefulness and appropriateness of the GRAPA Standards and Approaches to the practice of revenue assurance in the real world. Method: The Committee will develop specifications for the development of “Proof of Principle” projects which will “stress test” and “bench test” the GRAPA standards and practices in real world situations. The committee will then commission the execution of several Proof of Principle projects, to be completed via collaboration between GRAPA and interested partner organizations. Proof of Principle projects will be executed by GRAPA certified members, and will be used as the basis for the development and formalization of new certifications for individual members and partner organizations. Authority: A RA-PAC sub-committee has the authority to create a certification program, and to specify the criteria for qualification. The Professional Practices Subcommittee has been directed to establish a program for the certification of organizations, as compliant with GRAPA standards. Short Term Deliverables: the Professional Practices subcommittee is commissioned to create the specifications and criteria for the execution of an organizational compliance verification proof of principle program. Committee Membership Qualifications: Experienced GRAPA members who have managed RA departments and/or been responsible for implementing controls. Preference will be given to certified GRAPA members.
