GRAPA Committees

Credentialization Committee Profile

Mission/ Vision:
The GRAPA Credentialization Committee is responsible for the review and making of recommendations regarding how best to assure the credentials behind the GRAPA standards, practices, training and certification programs.

There are dozens of credentialization options for an organization like GRAPA including The ITU, TIA the IEC and dozens of other technical organizations, in addition to the hundreds of international and national organizations associated with the awarding of educational and certification credit for internal auditors, IFRS, GAAP, Sarbannes-Oxley, Educational certification requirements on the national level, and international organization certification groups like the NOCA.

The job of this committee is to review all of these options and create the roadmap for GRAPA compliance and alignment with the most critical of these.

Method and Approach:
The method behind this effort is the painstaking review of the claims, impacts and possibilities that each of these credentialization options present, and the negotiation and positioning of GRAPA behind the “best fit” for our organizational goals.
